Backseat 03:07
BACKSEAT Sittin in the backseat of my friend's car listening to the radio playing a loud guitar Nobody's talking everybody's breathing clean mountain air blowing through my hair without a care perfect moment I realize we're young and headstrong sittin next to the one I love right where I belong It's summer and i'm away from home I'm feeling my freedom and I'm not alone I look out the window and we're racing that river Embracing our youth with a shiver It's that perfect moment when I realize we're young and headstrong sittin next to the one I love nothin can go wrong This is the first time I'm feeling true love I wonder if it's gonna stay What if I hold on too tight Will I chase this magic away Sittin in the backseat of my friend's car listening to the radio playing a loud guitar Nobody's talking everybody's breathing clean mountain air blowing through my hair without a care perfect moment I realize we're young and headstrong sittin next to the one I love right where I belong nothing can go wrong

CASE OF CASSETTES When i was five i might have been jealous of you but it wouldn't stop me from being true to myself and if i wanted to do what you do then without a thought I would've been doing it too something happened along the way fear came and settled down to stay if i could get back to that feeling when i was younger there'd be pretty barrettes watching sunsets by the lakeside box of trinkets a case of cassettes by my bedside if i could only do that i'd say then i wouldn't've let anyone get in my way and if i were to get excited over you then without a thought i would've been showing you something happened along the way fear came and settled down to stay if i could get back to that feeling when i was younger there'd be pretty barrettes watching sunsets by the lakeside box of trinkets a case of cassettes by my bedside a dripping popsicle riding my bicycle down the newly paved street doin dance steps to michael listening for a cicada cycle in the summer heat

All In the Stars Andrea Wright My life is in limbo We are not afraid to start a fight I’m still happy with you friend or foe I wanna fall in love, let go, be outta control It’s all in the stars It’s all in the stars You can ask any questions you want Look for a sign in any font but you’re not gonna get the answers you want because it’s all in the stars I know I have put you through your paces Sometimes I like the cart before the horse As we stand as the crossroad my hand on your face There goes my mind, scenarios, just empty space Cause It’s all in the stars It’s all in the stars You can ask any questions you want Look for a sign in any font but you’re not gonna get the answers you want because it’s all in the stars Now I promise to go in n dig deep Let my feelings rip me apart at the seams I thought the power was showing nothing at all but that’s the fear, I’ll let love guide my fall It’s all in the stars It’s all in the stars You can ask any questions you want Look for a sign in any font but you’re not gonna get the answers you want because it’s all in the stars

STILL I WANT YOU TO KNOW I came to you when you were sleeping woke you up to say goodbye I'll take the hurt the pain and the shame but I'll leave before I have to lie Still I want you, still I want you Still I want you, still I want you to know you, you were hands down The best thing that happened to me As you cup you head in your hands with pain from love only I see your shooting star above The time frame of life is only a sip it’s a shame to waste the sound in your fingertips Still I want you, still I want you Still I want you, still I want you to know you were hands down The best thing that happened to me I’m leaving your garden the plentiful pleasures and smells I’m takin it with me on my primrose path to hell Still I want you, still I want you Still I want you, still I want you to know you, you were hands down The best thing that happened to me

Riverside 02:55
RIVERSIDE Moved uptown this fall to get out of my mind my mind followed me here Big city lights and riverside view made me forget my fear see the taillights on the highway the planes they come and go the traffic on the Washington Bridge reminds me we're going places creating our journey mostly i know i am not so alone red and green buoy lights guide big freighters up and down plowin through that current slow and steady sirens and horns create an urgency of emergency find the fire and be ready see the taillights on the highway the planes they come and go the traffic of the Washington Bridge reminds me we're going places creating our journey mostly i know i am not so alone New York night landscape keeps me alive there is more out there to do sit perfectly still in my little white box Ready to emerge and join you see the taillights on the highway the planes they come and go the traffic of the washington bridge reminds me that we're going places creating our journey mostly i know that i am not alone

SPEAK YOUR LOVE You may not know it but you're in my club once you're there you better beware not to spill your cup You may not know it but I am so very loyal you may play around but like fresh cream one day you may spoil Unlike family you gotta treat me preciously or you might find me walkin away Unlike those bloodlines keep your arms tied behind speak your love or you won't have a say as time goes by my circles they narrow I am the bullseye shot through the heart by your arrow as time goes by I'm aware of my freedom the only problem is it's you I have to get the key from Unlike family you gotta treat me preciously or you might find me walkin away Unlike those bloodlines keep your arms tied behind speak your love or you won't have a say You know that I care and you know I'd do anything for you as long as you treat me right I will always be there for you Unlike family you gotta treat me preciously or you might find me walkin away Unlike those bloodlines that keep your arms tied behind speak your love or you won't have a say

LOVE IS DEEPER you are my mother and I am your daughter we do not agree on anything different styles different beliefs different opinions and different griefs I might not know you if i didn't look at your face and see myself my love is deeper than the language that I use my love is deeper than the harshest words I choose just remember, don't be confused, i love you we've been through some rough times, silence may ensue inside there is pain and actions I soon rue we talk it out, try to move on but there are scars and some apologies are due my love is deeper than the language that I use my love is deeper than the harshest words I choose just remember, don't be confused, i love you I feel you always with me, forever in my heart a love so strong and solid I know that you're there even when we're apart my love is deeper than the language that I use my love is deeper than the harshest words I choose just remember, don't be confused, i love you

Motel 02:21
MOTEL The motel sits beside the highway and she sits and watches the scene all day cold pride wouldn't let her say goodbye, the town knows he left her high and dry She thinks he may come back again one day And like a prisoner in her own room she'll no longer have to stay Rather stare and fantasize her own rescue than admit the hurt and pain she'd been through waitlist herself and she'll never lose walks the town with her head held high she'll be right no matter til the day she dies. As she pulls up her hair and she brushes her teeth thinking maybe tomorrow he'll come and bring me relief She thinks he may come back again one day And like a prisoner in her own room she'll no longer have to stay Rather stare and fantasize her own rescue than admit the hurt and pain she'd been through waitlist herself and she'll never lose The motel sits beside the highway and she sits and watches the scene all day cold pride wouldn't let her say goodbye, the town knows he left her high and dry.
